Where is telathions camp

Dude thanks for the fix, my wife ran around screaming when she found out it was fixed. Are you downloading from the official download page or did you bookmark his download link when he posted earlier. If the former then that would be why as this is a fan update he is doing and thus he is unable to update the download page on this site.

Contact him by pm and i am sure he will let you know where you need to download it from until the official devs update it. Not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but It's been happening for me on both of my computers. And it might only be these 2 zones. It might even be the other addon Though it worked fine with previous versions of Carbonite With Elwynn Forest and Westfall, my waypoint has me going wayy off where I should be going.

It might do it with other places aswell, but I haven't gotten there yet. I love the fact that it works again at least as far as i have seen..

I do have one problem, that you may have said how to fix, but i missed it if you did. The carbonite mini map If i mouse over it, then it shows all the detail, and is nice and clear What i mean is that mouse off, its almost like looking at the continent map Is there a way to stop the transition, and have iot keep itself as zone map until zoomed out? Like i said, you da man I'm not sure if this is a bug or just something I never really had to change before with Carbonite but I noticed that when I use 'M' to make carb's map full screen and then zoom out to see the whole continent I can no longer mouse over other zones and see the zone map.

I can zoom in and see the google detail stuff but not the zone map. I'm not sure if I am describing the problem accurately or if I have my settings messed up or what but I thought I'd put this out there. Also, thank you so much for making this fan update and I sincerely hope the devs are not mad at you for saving the rest of us Carb fans from the misery of a broken carbonite.

I had this problem during testing because another addon was grabbing map control, even tho carbonite still showed it's map, I couldn't hover over and see the overlay.

Enough people have been emailing and sending me messages about where to get the new version, that i've created a new topic that I can control the first 2 threads of for it, now you never have to go searching the information will be here. I know you can be sure enough about anything But there is not executable in that only lua file But there is no reason to be paranoid,i install a lot programs and only solution is good antivirus and firevall If i was virus writer i would write key simple keyloggerwhich was send your psasword via internet not lua file which still have got limited access to yout computer in fact not at all If you are still afraid about hacking your account buy authenticator from blizzard.

Carbonite is not like most other wow addons, it includes a license that forbid us I think by wow new rule's forbid them to to even do this not sure myself and by blizzards new rule the lua should be easy to read and understand again not sure I can't live out Carbonite And I Thank Rythal for taking a big chance and doing a fan update. Like him I hope the dev's come back and update You sir, win this weeks Darwin Award :. In fact, it's been less then a year since they last updated it.

As for the concern there is a virus in it, if you are concerned then don't install it.. I'm not holding hands, or forcing anyone to use it, I updated it for myself because I couldn't live without it and thought i'd be kind and share it, but ask yourself this Yes I could play bait and switch, but there are just lua files inside the zip, and it will remain that way.

As for people trying to get in contact with the developers, so we can get this cleared up If there was anything malicious about it, someone, somewhere would of caught it. If people only use websites they trust, then no one will ever be able to successfully make a new website And no, it's not the real carbonite.. You need help. The caps lock key is for occasion capitalization, not for all of our posting needs.

There is absolutely no reason for anyone to insult each other. People are rightly concerned about security although there is no need for caps. I can answer some of that, to legally release my fan update I need the original developers to ok it. Many people are trying to get a hold of them, but so far it has resulted in silence. It is not a waiting game by my choice, it's just there has so far been no response. The mods are just doing there job when they remove the link, because normally an off-site link is not permitted, in this situation it was allowed as far as I understood from talks. I'm not putting it back into the post however until I know for sure I can.

Prior to the patch, the carb minimap could go transparent until I moused over it. Honestly this part looks to me like something you already know about since in the other thread you answered a few questions about the transparency settings of the mini map but I figured I'd bring it up just to be sure. Secondly, the map for Molten Front appears to be missing. I can see the quest objectives in Molten Front and frankly the front has always been a buggy area for carb but prior to patch, you could see the google view of Molten Front and now it has gone missing.

No idea how to change that to see it. Little help? Yeah, trying to figure out how to handle the transparency I enabled it again on my test and it works, except in dalaran. Anytime I enter dalaran, I get a huge black circle over the map, i'm sure there's other places that will cause it aswell but that's the one I know for sure anytime I need to see it.

Molton front moved since I couldn't find it anywhere on the map when I was reorganizing for the new continent and kept putting in random values trying to get it to appear I'll put back the original values for it and hopefully that'll fix it. BTW the guy,which fixed carbonite for 4. I was playing with the patched Carbonite last night with a friend and the quest sharing didn't work. Is this a known issue or just me? Sorry for a stupid question The original quest log showed when we have the same quests.

But the Carbonite tracker didn't and it didn't share quest data like map markers. The zone was Northern Stranglethorn so data should be up to date. It's on the list of things to look into. Does anyone know of a way to turn an account back to trial status, I'm trying to fix the quest stuff in regards to groups, but my second account was from RaFing so they won't let me login even for the I'm not sure who rythal is, maybe he is able to update carbonite, and all, but i found it strange where he left the link to the update that didn't even have a URL of carbonite..

Rythal already told you that He is not official developer so he cant upload patch on official site Also he hasnt right do distribute whole package, maybe even parts The archive contains carbonite. About that it contains only two files,that is for me because it uses file from original distributuion And last notice lua file must not be installed,it should be only copied to interface directory,and imo is completely safe because is not executable.

I can make a new one, but my battle. I was trying to not need another lol. Do you need a group for the lvl stuff or can anyone with carb help you out on this? Cause I'm pretty sure your server would have someone with carbonite and as long as your account hasn't hit 50 toons, you could make a new toon on another server for test purposes.

I apologize for this, but I don't know about anyone else, but it's driving me nuts! And it's not a very long trip. Met a lieutenant there who worked at NSA. His comment: "If we had our way, there wouldn't be any users! Yeah, alas it doesn't work here it just throws up a bunch of lua errors - even if its the only addon running. I don't know if its been fixed, but that used to happen with certain languages other than English. It hasn't yet : someone has posted a fixed localization.

I've just reinstalled Carbonite 4. The maps don't seem to be merging properly and I downloaded the mining node locations but they're not showing up. Any help would be appreciated. Yeah, haven't touched the localizations myself.

Are there install instructions that I'm just not seeing? I feel dumb :P. Rythal, re: this, I sent you a PM. I feel dumb :P There are two files contained in Rythal's zip file, named carbonite. You need replace the two existing files in the Carbonite folder with the two files of the same name from Rythal's archive.

That's it. If you do not already have Carbonite installed, then you need to do that first, and then perform the file replacement. What does it matter what the toc file says? Surely its a local value.

First of all : many thanks to Rythal for his fantastic job. I'm using a french version of wow. I replace the 2 files carbonite. And then I can't even open the world map.

I receive a series of error messages like: unknown map name and err MapGenAreas followed by the french names of zones. I believe I have to translate something but I don't know where. If it's in localization. Somebody can help me?

I apologies for my poor english. Sorry but the update currently only works in English. Until the developers decide to update it or allow others to update it officially you'll have to make do with English version I'm afraid.

I've tried everything i can think of to get it to work right i even tried the fix on this thread and its still not working Is there anything else i can do to get carbonite to work. I'm so used to it that i have a hard time playing without it.

I've attached a pic of what my map looks like. It looks fine when i zoom out but when i zoom in you cant see anything. And my quest arent showing up when i hit L to see my quest log and they also arent showing on the side of my screen.

Its not showing that i have quests at all. Right-click on the map, select transparency, adjust the slider listed as "Fade In Transparency" all the way to the right or until it equals 1. Let me know if that fixes your issue. Ok tried that and it just made my map go completely black. Thank you for the help.. Im at a lose as what to do to get it work. I hope someone else is able to help to help too i really like carbonite alot. It helps out alot and makes it easier to quest. Surely its a local value Because that's how you can tell which version of an addon you have installed. That's why authors put a version number in the.

I "updated" an addon once, and when I checked the. It was actually two versions older than the one I had "updated".

It turns out that the author had mistakenly uploaded an older version instead of the one he meant to upload. Someone else told the author about it before I got a chance to and he corrected the problem immediately. If the version number in the. So, as you can see, it does make a difference. While it is a "local value" in the sense that it really does nothing except tell you which version of the addon you have installed, it can also tell you if the version you're about to update to is actually newer or not.

If possible id make sure you liaise with Rythal, its far too easy to end up with 2 copies of the files online, each with different changes, especially minor ones that may get overlooked! The changes he made were already made in my test build I've used Carbonite since the days where donations were offered and I did! This addon, if just for its map, has been a true blessing for making my gaming on WoW much more enjoyable. I truly appreciate your selfless dedication to assisting the authors with a temporary update.

It seems if you zoom in to far the minimap does go blank and the addon may crash or worse crash all your addons like it did with mine. When I logged back on it was still blank. All you need to do is move a while, preferable fly higher and your view should come back. No promises however:. I can understand why this may not already be there, since the DMF only started like today, but are there any plans to add it as a zone map with quest tracking??

I wanna get this current patch finished, hopefully early this evening then I'll look into darkmoon faire. But yes party quest tracking is one of the things fixed in the next patch.

Thanks for the fan update! For the most part everything is working great for me! Having done scripting in the past, I know what an effort you have been putting into this for the fans of Carbonite. Like others I wish the developers were more responsive and alert. I remember one patch update, they came on a couple days late and said, "Oh we didn't know this was released" The reason I am posting, besides to thank you, is I wanted to let you know in spite of your update working very well, I believe there is a problem with the public flights.

When I fly on my own mount I can go from zone to zone with no problems. However, if I take a public flight point, my game crashes when crossing zones.

For example, I took a public flight from Uldum to Ratchet. My game crashed in Tenaris, then again in Thousand Needles, etc, with every zone change until I landed in ratchet. Same thing occurred flying from Booty to Stormwind. Comment by sephiroth If you're a low level explorer, this is a great place to go because of the experience you get.

Comment by Tel'athion's Camp is amazingly small. Look for an empty tent by the river. Especially in Bloodmyst Isle, with the hidden reefs and such, it's probably the most annoying to explore. I hovered above until I saw nobody and just flew right down but that's up to you.

After getting to Teldrassil, you fly over to the other dock and wait for the boat to Azuremyst. At Azuremyst I just used an Elixir of Water Walking which works while mounted as long as you don't take damage and just ran around the side of Exodar. Veridian Point is in the northern part of Wyrmscar Island off the coast of the mainland to the northeast; this is not necessarily triggered by doing the quest on top of the mountain on Wyrmscar. Although I was doing the quest achievement for Bloodmyst, I also missed The Warp Piston even though I did the quest there and The Hidden Reef where the Draenei water totem quest was but that has been removed.

All of these are in the north and could be missed even if you do quests in the area. The Warp Piston is the actual building? The Hidden Reef is all the way to the northwest and past the murloc huts off the coast. Comment by auramichelle Okay, although these posts where helpful in exploring the Bloodmyst Isles, some of these places were still hard to find. Even though most of them you find by simply doing your quests all of the quests, including the hidden ones these two places you have to actually look for, the Hidden Reef and the Tal'athion Camp.

Alright to find the Hidden Reef when you complete the quest Raxormaw, simply swim out until it says you've discovered it. Its right there off the Blacksilt Shore. I hope this makes it easier for you to discover BloodMyst Isles than it was for me.
